My first tin of this arrive today and all I can say is WOW! This is some good stuff. Smooth and spicy. I don't have the vocabulary to describe just how good this stuff taste. So this is a VA/Per. What have I been missing! I must try more of these types of tobacco. I would be interested in anyone opinions of this blend and any recommendations of other VA/Per blends, kake or not.
Thanks,
George

James Fox's Dorisco Mixture is quite delicious. I believe, however, it has a little latakia added.

If you like Kajun Kake, be sure you try GLPease Fillmore next. I believe you'll be pleased.

There are lots of other great VA/Per blends available (Haddo’s Delight, Bayou Morning Flake, Bayou Night, Escudo, etc. for starters) but Fillmore happens to be my favorite. Night Train is similar but the addition of Burley to the mix adds a dimension that I find appealing.

I am having trouble putting this stuff down! I have only smoke one bowl of the other blends that I bought. Kajun Kake has consumed much of my time. At this rate, I will have to order more next week. Might try some Bayou Morning Flake too.

This was my first purchase of a Cornell & Diehl blend. Any company that has a blend named Purple Cow can't be all bad :-)

You might also want to try Pease's Haddo's Delight and Dan's Blend from the Boswll pipe shop. The Virginias in Dan's blend are really sweet. Dan's is available at a really good price. You will have to go to the Boswell site and e mail them or call them both to order and to get a copy of their tobacco list.

Another GREAT VA/Per cake is Anniversary Kake from www.pipesandcigars.com. I don't work for them, I'm just a very satisfied customer.
