Recently came across a freind with 4 new sealed pouches, I 'm not crazy about P A but any ideas on mixing it with some others?
I prefer english style blends with some Latakia
some Virginia, Oriental etc

Thanks for the suggestions
Dave

PA usually mixes well with anything
It will add a little nic and change the flavor
I use it to mix with
virginia's
Perique
other burlys

never tried it with lat because I dont care for a lot of it

PA can be mixed with just about any other tobacco 'cause it
a simple burley. Heck, play around with different mix ratios
on your everyday or just smoke it plain since it really is very
good by itself.

Mix it with Frog Morton. It jazzes it up and the two blend really well! I prefer Carter Hall with the Frog, but PA works well too!

You might look to some of the suggestions on this site:http://www.tobaccoblending.com/tobacco_blending_how_to.htm
You'll find a lot of suggestions for mixes, some of which use PA.

I still say 1 part Penzance, 3 parts PA is the best all day smoke I have found. Lucky for me I found this forum a few years ago, for that I where I found it. Camping this weekend for 4 days with a tent, 4 kids, a wife, my dog in the Catskills with my doctored red tub of the Prince! Nothing like an open fire and a full zippo!

Now I gotta say, that 50/50 mix of PA and Middleton Cherry sounds interesting! I'm not much for the "overwhelming" smack of the cherry flavored types but cutting it with "real" tobacco sounds like a reasonable alternative. May have to give it a try. Thanx burro. Happy smoking!
