Has anyone had good or bad luck ordering form these people? I am trying to buy 2 pounds of Gawith and Hoggarth Dark Birds Eye and it is hard to find online. I have tried by my usual 4 noggins, marscigars.comk, smoking pipes.com, etc and they are all out. However if it is going to be a problem getting delivery I would very much appreciate knowing about it before I spend $120. Thank you for any experience you have had with them. Michael Gaudin | ||

I haven't had any good experience with them as I ordered a tin of Hal O' The Wynd only for them to tell me three days later that they were out. They never charged me, but it was inconvenient. I have heard others who have had good experience with these guys, if you don't want to buy from an unfamiliar place. | ||

I try to order $100 at a time for the free shipping from them. First order went fine but I had to ask them to check my second order and it went out three days later. I would track your order online and if its not shipped on time follow up. They are the only place online I have ordered from so far and have been satisfied but as the poster above mentioned if everything does not go according to plan you can expect a three day delay. | ||

My last order with Pipes and Cigars was for 2 pipes and some other things. After a week, and not having heard anything I called and was told that both pipes were on backorder. They had the buy label on both as being in stock when I ordered. I thought they could have least told me several days before that they were out of stock. I cancelled the order and have not bought there again. | ||

I lived in Atlanta and was a regular walkin customer at Royal Cigar aka tobaccomkt. A wonderful lady named Joyce used to own it, don't know if she still does. I have nothing but good things to say about the place. Excellent selection and Joyce was very well versed in everything related to her stocks. |
