I was wondering if anyone has tried cellaring this tobacco? It seems to me like one that would benefit from aging and I've started putting some back. Just curious if anyone has noticed a nice taste change. |

I haven't done it with Tuggle Hall, but with Cordial (ie. Dunhill Aperitif), the tobacco improved *greatly* with at least 6 months on it. |

Tuggle is raw and inconsistent when fresh blended, I found. I have some cellared for 6 months in one batch, a year on the other. It benefits greatly after only 6 months. My pre-packing preparation involves a generous spritz with distilled water. Next, I placed the pound in food grade plastic bag(sealed) and set it in the back seat of my car in the summer heat for 2hrs. I then tossed to blend and packed into mason jars. The stuff is very good. Seems to mellow the orientals by making their contribution more consistent from bowl to bowl. |
