3 50gram pouches shipped to the US 45 bucks, does anyone know where or how to get these blends any cheaper anywhere? And then an international charge also appears on your bill. Is it to much to spend for 3 POUCHES of good tobacco?

Matty, I don't know any way of getting them cheaper but a fun way of doing it is looking for someone across the pond to trade with. I've done that in a couple of cases and it has always worked out. It doesn't always mean saving money but is a lot of fun. Another possibility is to look for someone to combine an order with. This way you can sort of split the shipping costs and US shipping, especially with pouches would be a cheaper. Also, keep in mind, that while you may think that paying $15 per pouch is expensive, without the internet many of us would be paying close to that for your average 50g tin with all of the taxes, etc. Plus many brands are close to that price anyway, such as Solani. Also, that's what they're paying overseas. Personally, I'd say treat yourself and go for it. It's not a bad price for some great tobacco that you won't be able to try otherwise. You might consider buying double and using the extras to trade. Just my $.02. YMMV.

Matty, this is my first post to the site .I am a pipe smoker for over 30 years and I have been reading the mails on this site from the begining. This site has kept me company over the years as pipe smokers in my area are very few.Gret work and congrats to all concerned.I have the same problem from my end as I am from the other side of the pond(Ireland)and I depend on holidays to get my favourite tobacco Penzance..For me Condor is easy to get as it is the most widely available tobacco though not cheap due to Govt taxation.Perhaps if you wish we can come to an arrangement. With regard to St Bruno it is getting more difficult to find but there are still somne places that I search for you.Again my congrats to all on this wonderful site and I look forward to plenty of discussion on the burning issues of Pipe smoking.

To follow up on my visit to K&P store today I have put my eye on a beautisul silver Aran apple shape with a slight bend. However as it came with the Peterson mouthpiece which I find hard to hold and smoke the guy in the store very kindly ordered a fishtail mouthpiece and I collect on my next visit. Also when I was there he showed me a new Peterson tobacco called 3p's.Peterson Perfect Plug .The plug is made up of African and Brazilian Virginia leaf and Burley from Malawi. They just got it in the store yesterday and I was one of the first to purchase. Also for my Latakia hit I purchased Peterson's OLD DUBLIN and Fox THE BANKERS mixture.Going to save these for special occasions.Has anyone smoked the Bankers or old Dublin before and do they have a good Latakia Hit?.Now back to my Balkan Flake and a beer.

Harvy/Nathan.I decided to open the tobacco this evening.First impressions was that the tobacco has a scent like that of a rich fruit cake really powerful fruity smell.I cut it with a penknife and teased it out and loaded it into a little black Peterson "Nosewarmer" pipe that Ihave had for over ten years and which I use to test new tobaccos.First impressions were good.it lit easy and stayed lit through the whole time. The room note was pleasent and the overall impression was fruity taste with a hint of spice.Normally I smoke Murray's navy plug and thid is a VG tobacco as is most of the tobaccos found here.3G's was definitely a new expierience for me.Conclusion:I like this tobacco and I would buy it again but I would not put it in my top three tobaccos.By the way Ihave no idea who makes this for Peterson's.

I've searched several US etailers for a Peterson tobacco called 3p's, or Peterson's Perfect Plug. Is this the actual name of one of their blends? Is it available in the US?

Tom I purchased this from Peterson Store in Dublin. The tobacco came in a tin even though it was aplug tobacco.Written on the label is 3P's Peterson Perfect Plug. The fact that it only arrived in the store last week leads me to believe that it may not be available outside Ireland as yet.
