I currently have about 8oz. of McClelland 5100 in a jar that has been sealed for less than a month. The plan is to age it for about a year, but I'd like to move it to a mason jar as opposed to the clamp-lid jar it's in now. Will this affect the aging in anyway or should I just let it go? |

I move tobaccos from one jar to another from time to time. I haven't noticed it making any difference. |

A month will hardly affect the tobacco, should be safe to move but there's a suggestion, move it to smaller mason jars so that you can sample one small jar without affecting the others from time to time. That way it will give you a good idea of the ideal time to cellar you tobacco. |
