Search the forum using the keywords pipe mud. Be sure to change the default to 'and'. That method will likely help fill in the divot in the bottom of your bowl that was improperly drilled. If the hole in the other is completely through, it may be damaged beyond repair. Crazy glue releases poisonous fumes when curing; I have no idea what heat will do to it, but would not suggest using it for a pipe repair. Good luck! |

If your pipe has a hole burned all the way through then sadly there is no repair that I know of for that, maybe somebody on here might know of one. I would strongly recommend not putting crazy glue inside the bowl because god knows what concoction of poisons could be released with the direct contact of heat from burning tobacco. I know many pipe crafting hobbyist use a mixture of super glue(krazy glue) and briar saw dust to fill external blemishes but that is on the outside not in direct contact with heat. Although the small tear you describe sounds like a heat crack. Is the pipe your speaking of new or used? If it is new I would try to return it to the seller. If it is used those can be repaired simply by either smoking very slowly all the way to the bottom and let the cake fill it in and protect and shield it from growing larger. The other method is make some pipe mud, you can do a search on here as to making and applying of pipe mud. I might be wrong but judging from your problems it sounds like you may be smoking to fast. If the pipe at any point is to hot to the touch set it down and let it cool. That is just my two cents, best of luck. |

My father used to stick a toothpick into the hole and then some glue. Not my style, but he saved money on repairs. |
