Lately I've noticed that it seems (for me, anyway) the first bowl in the morning is the best bowl of the day.

Does anyone else feel that way, or is it just me?

Conversely, does anyone find the last smoke of the day the most enjoyable?

I'm still new to smoking, only had a pipe for about three days, but my first smoke comes shortly after waking, and it is easily the best of the day.

Seems to be cooler, better tasting and even longer lasting, though this could just be me.

Before bed unwinding!
I can really take my time and enjoy.

Or after dinner when I like to pair great coffee with great tobac!

For me it kinda depends on the blend, it seems. My first bowl in the morning tends to gravitate toward the aromatic, while my last at night seems to be more along the English line. I enjoy both times of day because of this, and if the order is reversed it seems to throw things off (for me at least!)
