Hi

Am new to the forum. I'm not a pipe collecter but I do collect vintage and antique items that , at least in part' are sterling silver.

I have 3 pipes now, the oldest of which was made c1870. They are such interesting items and they have sparked an interest

I have just aquired a silver trimmed K&P PETERSON that seems to be c1927. A very nice pipe.

As a 'newbe' to pipes one of the first questions that comes to mind is simply, what type of wood are the Petersons made of?

Thanks
John
