Hello everyone, my name is bob and i've been lurking around in the forums for a while now.What a wealth of informaation! ive been smoking pipes for about 2 years now i started in high school and im in my first year of college now. i currently have two savinelli pipes: a linea piu 76 and a tortuga 626. i also have a medico standard that was my first pipe. right now though, im looking to purchase a boswell. ive been eyeing some of the pipes on the website and they just have a quality look about them which is giving me a serious case of PAD. i like bent pipes. two of mine are bent but im looking for a full-bent. i also like the half rusticated half smooth look featured on some of Mr. Boswells pipes. my price range is probably under $100 depending on what comes up. can anyone with Boswell experience steer me in the right direction?

Hey Robert!
Boswell pipes are giving me a serious case of PAD as well. I too am in college, and as such, am on a budget, though I have thought about splurging on a Jumbo. I too like the "black & tan" pipes that Boswell carves. I don't have any personal experience but would like some insight from those that do. Anyone specially order from him? If so, how much did it cost? Anyone know how often he updates his "pipes for sale" page?

Hey Sam,
Thanks for your reply. i just purchased one on wednesday, but i havent recieved it yet. he said it should be here by monday. the pipe i bought was 89.95 but its a standard size pipe and i think the jumbos are quite a bit more expensive. also, the website is said to be updated weekly, but sometimes i think it runs a little longer than a week, maybe until all of the pipes on the page are sold??

Boswell's updates their pipes-for-sale page about every other week, depending on workload. Give them a call on their "contact us" phone #. The Jumbo is big, and the Grizzly is outtasight. Try Boswell's tobaccos while you're at it (and ask for a discount -- ha ha!). |
